About The Shuttle
Topo Joes Shuttle locally owned and operated with YEARS of experience on the Pinal Mountain range. We are here to provide a fun, reliable transportation option for adventure seekers into the remote forest south of Globe to access some of the most amazing mountain biking and hiking in the state! Climb aboard and get your trip started out right. We are fully insured, licensed and permitted by the US Forest Service to provide this service. We appreciate the dedication and hard work of those who help keep our mountain routes open! A portion of your seat cost also goes to Tonto Gravity Riders, a 501(c)3 with a mission to maintain and create new trails on Pinal Mountain!
Know Before You Go
Biodiversity of Pinal Mountain
The Pinal Mountain Range is a stunning and secluded part of the Tonto National Forest, with peaks reaching nearly 8,000 feet and descending to the high desert at around 4,000 feet. This diverse ecosystem supports a variety of wildlife, including Black Bears, Mule and Whitetail Deer, Bobcats, and Rattlesnakes. Vegetation varies greatly, featuring soft plants and sharp cacti along the trails—something to remember, as they don’t react well to tires!
Trail Safety and Etiquette
While dedicated volunteers maintain the trails, you may encounter downed trees and brush, so caution is essential. Always wear appropriate clothing and gear for the weather, and never ride alone; inform a friend or family member of your plans. Cell service is available but can be unreliable, so familiarize yourself with trail conditions and distances beforehand. Water is not accessible, and there are no trash services—practice "pack it in, pack it out." Remember that all trails are multi-use, with horses and hikers having the right of way over bicycles. Stay on designated routes, approach horses with care, and enjoy your time in this beautiful forest!
